Summary
This map is a breakdown of of National land survey data showing Township, Range, Section number and Quarter-Quarter sections (every 40 acres) on your GPS. As you probably know, many of these borders represent actual property boundaries. This 40 acre and square mile grid can be very useful when comparing your GPS'd location to property boundaries on a Plat map or other paper map. If you already have a Topo product or have a Topo basemap on your GPS, this transparent map can be used in conjunction with those maps.

Accuracy
We concentrate our efforts to providing the most curent and accurate property boundaries and ownership available. If you actually take the map out and test it by finding a section marker or some other official survey line marker, you will find the maps to be accurate to within feet in most cases (pushing the accuracy of your GPS'd position on the map). Most land survey data is 1:24,000 scale or +/- 50 ground feet according to national mapping accuracy standards. These maps are for Reference Purposes only. Always obey property postings and use common sense to visually verify boundaries.
Data is taken from the most current state and national government agency's land survey data. Because of the data compilation methods used by state agencies and Montana Mapping & GPS, LLC; the data is subject to error. No representation is made or warranty given as to its content or usability. User assumes all risk of use.
