Our BLM4GPS and some other maps are availble for Free Trials, simply find the map you want to try in the 'Map Store' and Add the Map to your cart. Then select the 'Free Trial' delivery option when checking out. You will be able to use the full trial version on your GPS for 14 days. Download Maps for Garmin's MapSource or BaseCamp Software on your computer
You can download and install the map onto your computer's MapSource or BaseCamp Software to view the maps on your computer then send the maps to your GPS.
System Requirements (unless you purchase the microSD card)
- Garmin GPS with color screen
- USB cable to connect GPS to computer
- BaseCamp software (free download from Garmin's Website) - or you can use the old version of Garmin's Trip and Waypoint Management Software - MapSource
- Windows PC (OS's - Windows XP SP3 or higher, Vista, Windows )
- Mac Computer ( Intel based running OS 10.5.8 or higher. Tiger and PowerPC users should use BaseCamp 2.1.2 available here.)
- HIGH SPEED INTERNET required
- recommended units - Garmin GPSMAP 62s
- You must have MapSource or BaseCamp installed on your Windows PC or MAC
- This file will automatically download an example map of a small portion of Northeastern Utah to your Basecamp or MapSource Software.
- To view the map on your GPS you will need to 'Pan Map' to Northeastern Utah, near Dutch John, UT, and NE of Vernal, UT ('N40d 44m 10s, W109d 14m 17s' or '40.74 decdegN, -109.28 decdegW') and zoom in (unless you happened to live in this area). This small area may be difficult to locate, so use coordinates to help you zoom to the correct location where the data will load.

Ordering - How the download process works
After your order you will receive an email with login information for the MyMaps area of this website. Once logged in you can download an .exe file which will install the map automatically onto your Garmin MapSource software or BaseCamp software on your computer. You can then unlock the map and send it to your GPS.
